E-mails, petitions, form letters, and personal letters are a few ways to contact our government officials. However, the most effective voice is personal letters written correctly. Letters written correctly will be put in permanent file at the government office, whereas e-mails, petitions, and form letters can be discarded. It only takes a few moment to sit down and pen your thoughts to the government officials. When writting always be courteous and concise. Long letters are not necessary and might not even be throughly read. For the convienience of the secratary please note at the beginning of the letter what the purpose is.

The following information will demonstrate how to write each government official and the Clemency Board.

To Write Joshua and Caleb:
Caleb and Joshua mostly put geographically close family members on there list of ten. However, they are allowed to recieve two "pastoral visits" a month which allows others to visit them that are not able to be included on their regular list.
If you are an ordained minister and would be interested in visiting Joshua and Caleb take note of the following:
- Have ordination papers ready to fax
- Have a specific date and time in mind
- Keep updated on openings in the schedule at this website.

There are some things that would help the wives and family in their persuit to see Joshua and Caleb freed.

2) Texas Newpaper articles about astonishing criminal sentences
3) A copy of the letters you write to government officials on Joshua and Caleb's behalf.
4) Contact informations of influential people.

1) Letters should be addressed to "The Board of Pardons and Paroles:" (Do not address letters to the Executive Clemency Section or "To whom it may concern")
2) Letter should contain reccomendation as in this example, "I reccomend a full pardon on behalf of (full applicants name and number)";
3) Letter should contain the name, occupation, signature, telephone number and mailing address of the writer;
4) Letter should be original (photocopies and faxes are not acceptable).
